Germans make up the largest group of foreign visitors to the Dutch coast. But how do Germans perceive the coast?

To answer that question, LAgroup and ContinuVakantieOnderzoek carried out a quantitative survey of tourist's impressions of the Dutch coast and the coastal regions of Zeeland, the provinces of Zuid-Holland and Noord-Holland and the Wadden Islands. Our conclusion was that the Dutch coast is more than just the sea and the sand to German tourists and factors that make Dutch coastal resorts more popular than competitors in Belgium, Germany and Denmark are the easy accessibility, local hospitality and the wide beaches.
