How should a new Chinatown in Amsterdam be promoted to attract stakeholders?
The island to the east of Central Station in Amsterdam, the so-called Oosterdokseiland, was formerly Amsterdam's postal sorting centre and is currently being redeveloped. Alongside the new city library and conservatory it will also be the site of New China Town in Amsterdam. The planned development will be a meeting place for Western and (East) Asian businesses with congress and meeting facilities, a five star hotel, cafés and restaurants. LAgroup worked with the developers in formulating the concept and developing a strategy to attract investors and operators.
